Jeopardy! Update

Here's the latest on Jeopardy! on this first Monday in June.  Mayim Bialik has hosted the show for the past four weeks She returned to the helm after Ken Jennings announced that he'd be away for "months."  The permanent hosting position still hasn't been filled.  It is expected to be decided at the end of the season in July and that the choice will probably be between Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik.

In the meantime  the long win streaks just keep on coming.  Ryan Long, a rideshare driver from Philadelphia, enjoyed his 16th victory in a row on Friday.  He's won a grand total of $229,400.00 so far.  Ryan is now seven games short of Canadian tutor Mattea Roah's 23 wins.  He will compete in the Tournament of Champions in November along with such winners as Mattrs, Matt Amodio and Amy Schneider.

Ryan Long

Ryan Long has made it the Leaderboard of Legends and the Jeopardy! Hall of Fame.  Only eight players in the history of the show have won more games than Ryan.  He says he has no particular strategy.  "I'd be lying if I said I had any kind of plan," he has admitted.  He just like to do "what feels right" to him at the moment."  It's certainly working for him.
